After months of tiredness and pain, I took the "60 mins combo" package : 30 mins back massage & 30 mins of foot reflexology at YW Relaxation. The experienced masseurs massaged me, and I was very satisfied with the pain relief. As their massage room is open with a shop, I found that there are about 2 places where you can get a back & shoulder massage in the center of the shopping mall. The person who served me and gave me a massage was Max. He is a really good massage therapist. Thank you for the clean and thorough service. The location is located in the Great Mall Milpitas Outlet.
For sure the place to go for a “Real” massage. I’ve been dealing with a tense back for weeks, never had a massage before thought what the heck. At first they offered a 15 minute for $25. After 10 minutes I asked for an hour and a full body (I knew I would need it). I could hear the masseuse muttering and griping at the slabs of rawhide between my shoulder blades.
They called some others over and gave me a full back massage, someone pulled my socks off and started working on my toes and heel. Eventually I had to empty my pockets and take my shirt off, got a full oil massage along my spine. Every time I asked they made their best effort at least in broken english...read full review
I stopped at the little area in the Great Mall for a quick chair massage. My neck and shoulders were super tense, but unsure of the massage quality, I opted for a 20min massage for neck & shoulders only. As soon as the masseuse touch me he said "oh wow". I knew that meant he could feel the extreme tension. For 20mins he worked hard using his arm which was kind of painful at times, but effective. He recommended 10 additional minutes, in which I agreed. Towards the end he did a number of stretches with me then wrapped up with a drum beat on my back. I must say, although it was quite painful at times, I felt much better when it was over. My masseuse didn't speak English very well, which was a slight barrier. However, overall it was a pretty descent experience.
