TLDR; Technicians FAILED TO ADD NEUTRAL to the electrical panel, causing voltage fluctuations and blew out appliances.Scheduling the service is a nightmare. They did not treat a complete power shutdown as an emergency and "the earliest service is 4 weeks out - reported Nov 30th, go Dec 22nd " - ridiculous. and on top the issue blew out my appliances and I'm waiting for Tesla to even acknowledge.***I have Tesla Solar for over a year - that finally got installed/activated 5 months after initiating the application, needed 3rd attempt from city to approvefor over a year, working with no issues, but then suddenly all the lights start to flicker and appliances do the power-on-off...read full review

TLDR; Technicians FAILED TO ADD NEUTRAL to the electrical panel, causing voltage fluctuations and blew out appliances. Scheduling the service is a nightmare. They did not treat a complete power shutdown as an emergency and \\\"the earliest service is 4 weeks out - reported Nov 30th, go Dec 22nd \\\" - ridiculous. and on top the issue blew out my appliances and I'm waiting for Tesla to even acknowledge. *** I have Tesla Solar for over a year - that finally got installed/activated 5 months after initiating the application, needed 3rd attempt from city to approve for over a year, working with no issues, but then suddenly all the lights start to flicker and appliances do the power-on-off dance. Called PG\\u0026E and they confirmed input voltage is 120-120 but what's coming to the breaker box is 35-200 or 50-170 - which is dangerous. So power is shutdown and referred to call TESLA service. We sleep in cold - without hot water, heater etc.... Next day Calling Tesla service was an experience, as the guy just took down the details and said someone from scheduling will call. Next day the nice lady calls to schedule only to tell me that this is NOT an emergency and earliest someone can come is Dec 22nd.I am absolutely astonished how calmly I was told \\\"no power in winter is not an emergency\\\" So I call an external electrician - had to pay after hour service charge etc , but that's ok. Within 5 mins of opening the box, he started laughing and tells me there is NO NEUTRAL connection and I wonder how did the system and your appliances survived for an year. anyways, he adds the neutral connection, power is back and asks me to check the appliances. Guess what : Washer, Dryer, Home entertainment system and bunch of LED lighting could not take the high voltage/ voltage fluctuations and died. Now, I'm trying to get TESLA to reimburse but getting someone to respond is turning out to be a herculean task.
