Dr. Penny and the whole team are awesome!! Everyone was so kind and took really good care of my dog. It's such a relief to finally find a good, affordable vet with a staff who really cares.
About Middletown Animal Hospital
Middletown Animal Hospital, led by a team of experienced veterinarians, offers compassionate and expert care for both large and small animals. While the hospital's service may be impacted by some organizational and time management issues, the staff works hard to provide state-of-the-art equipment and medical care. The commitment to listening to customer concerns is evident, as demonstrated by a refund given after a pricing dispute. Many reviewers highlight the helpfulness and kindness of the vet techs, who take the time to listen to pet owners. One reviewer praised Dr. Couch for her careful handling of a benign superficial sebaceous adenoma removal, noting it was a wonderful experience. Another customer expressed deep gratitude for the phenomenal care their dog received during surgery, describing it as a "spa day" for their beloved pet. Overall, Middletown Animal Hospital aims to deliver top-notch veterinary care at an affordable price. Despite occasional shortcomings, the hospital's dedication to its patients shines through, making many clients willing to travel long distances for their services.

I moved across the country with my two dogs, one a senior and the other one who needs regular medication. I was very lucky to find Middletown Animal Hospital, every person I spoke with or worked with was helpful, kind and understanding. I had two separate urgent incidents, one with each of my dogs, and Middletown not only got me in right away, they also treated me and both of my dogs with respect and compassion.

We are extremely grateful to have Middletown Animal Hospital in our community. We moved here to HVL last year and yesterday made the difficult decision to have our 17 year old chihuahua put to sleep. From the moment we walked in to MAH and throughout the procedure, we experienced a high level of care and compassion. All of the staff, vet techs and Doctor Lauren Penney, treated us so well. We plan to bring our other pets to this veterinary hospital when they need care. They truly are a competent and caring animal hospital.
