Dr. Pilkington is a highly skilled and experienced dermatologist who has been practicing medicine in Merced since 1995. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine and completed his residency in Dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Pilkington is board-certified in Dermatology and has maintained his certification, with recertification in 2005 and 2015. Great Doctor in his field and he definitely knows how to diagnose skin issues in many ways and he knows what to prescribe for me so I’m happy with him since I changed to a different Doctor that was further away from me because of the long drive many hours round-trip I do look for a new one closer to me in Merced, which I’m happy with it. My change over should’ve done a long time ago six years ago.
When I arrived for my appointment, first thing in the morning, there was no power. The utility people were working outside and there were lots of buildings without power. When I came in, they took my information and said they would call me and reschedule. About an hour later when the power came back on, they called me and got me in, the very same day. They were very apologetic, even though the power loss was not their fault, and very kind. My appointment went smoothly, I was still seen quickly in spite of the fact that I was not the only appointment they had to reschedule. I was very pleased with my service. Our family have been seeing Dr. Pilkington since he came to Merced. On my last visit I was treated VERY RUDLY by the receptionist who was just NASTY and HATED being there. Her every action was rude and unprofessional towards doing her job. She continued to taunt me even as I was leaving the clinic,without being seen. Then I received a bill for $35.00 for not being seen and being DISRESPECTED by this Very Nasty receptionist. Now the Bright spot. I just called and spoke with Ashley in billing.
