We have been going to Dr Dickson since we moved here in 1993. At the time we got our first puppy, a German shepherd and she was the only vet in town that we felt comfortable with. The others were too expensive. Over the years the service and love and caring has not changed. Dr Dickson and her team truly care about my babies. It’s not just about the money. I love that Dr Dickson is old school and doesn’t jump to high cost treatments or unnecessary treatments. She will first try other methods and they usually always work. We have had many many animals over the years and every single one has been treated by Dr Dickson and her team. I won’t trust anyone else.
I have gone to the Sun City Vet clinic for nearly 5 years and have had my pets treated by both Dr. Dickson and Lackner. They have always been professional , knowledgeable, patient and great with my pups Andee and Bear. Andee (20) passed away in July. Dr Dickson helped me through a difficult time. She was so knowledgeable and experienced. She gave me options and I will never forget her kindness, especially to Andee. To the staff - thank you also. They always offer to help me with getting my pups in the car. Especially Andee when she was so weak.
Dr.Dickson is amazing, 5 stars. But her receptionists, 1 star. We have taken all our family dogs here since I was little that's the only reason I continue to come. Dr. Dickson has always been honest, and that's what we have appreciated, but unfortunately, her receptionists do not act professional. They are always rude and act like you're bothering them. I wish she would find someone who wants to be there so more people would feel comfortable and welcomed into the office. I dread calling and making appointments because of the receptionist. I also wish they updated their technology so we could email, leave voicemails, and pay with debit.
