I want to thank the salon for being willing to redo a manicure I used bad judgement on. I had acrylic removed from my nails ~ Never again, I waited to long to do them & had several that broke, so I cut them down The remaining acrylic & tips were soaked off, however with excessive filing made my nails very delicate. They suggested gel polish on top; since I was rushing, I was not understanding or considering my natural nail need something to give them strength. The color I chose seemed to smear at the salon & even when we tried to touch them up, it was still smudging dried at home. Regardless the salon has fit me in today for an appointment. I appreciate them very much & their patience with me being so rushed, during a personally stressful time.
Rushed like really rushed. Didn’t even get a hot towel like it said, didn’t even get the lotion rubbed in just put on my legs like a glob, told them I wanted my nails short and had in ingrown, didn’t listen to me with what I wanted, I tried talking and I know most will say “maybe they didn’t hear you”. The atmosphere is great, but the service sucked. It’s unfortunate I had high hopes.
Do not stop in here to get any services. What a waste of time and money. I tipped well, yet after getting home and inspecting further it was horrible. I mean my 8 year old could have done a better job. Also the technicians should have known better than to do the jobs that they did. They need to shut this money hungry place down. For$215.00 I paid for two full sets and one pedicure. The only relaxing part was getting to sit down in the massage chair. I feel as though they owed me money. This was how bad they were. The technician only used a dime size amount to lotion only the bottom of my feet. Now traditionally it is the legs and entire feet that get the lotion. Never have I ever been so disappointed with a nail salon. Champaka will never get my service again in life.
