Tam is an incredible math tutor. He is smart, kind, and patient. He has helped not only with the nuts and bolts of Algebra, but he encourages my son, remembers quiz dates, follows up with him, offers suggestions for completing homework and talking to the school, and keeps me in the loop. He is responsible for helping my son become confident in Algebra 1. This has directly led to better grades and improved feelings about math generally. He's on the Eastside now, so look no further if you need math help. He's the one.
Math has always been a subject where I have excelled at. However in my junior year of highschool, I decided to take Honors Precalculus and throughout the semester I had a fluctuating C. Then, my parents found a math tutor, Tam, from MathFluent near my house. After my first session, I understood the material much more clearly. I was amazed on how Tam was able to come up with his own questions on the spot instead of asking for questions from my homework or notes. Tam has been my son’s tutor for over two years now and has been a Godsend!! He has the gift of being able to break down the concepts in a manner in which my son completely understands and subsequently does well on his math exams. His way of teaching and explaining algebraic concepts truly has made such a difference in my son’s grades and has also given him the confidence he did not have prior to working with Tam. I cannot recommend Tam’s tutoring services enough!!
