I just had to share this heartwarming experience we had at Sorensen Ace Hardware! My toddler is absolutely obsessed with construction equipment—he spots every dump truck, excavator, and backhoe wherever we go. We pass by Sorensen Ace every day on our way to and from daycare, and there's one piece of equipment he’s particularly smitten with, which we've affectionately named Bert.

We pass by Sorensen Ace every day on our way to and from daycare, and there's one piece of equipment he's particularly smitten with, which we've affectionately named Bert. Watching him push and pull all the handles, moving the equipment back and forth with sheer joy was priceless. This kind man truly made my son's day--and possibly his entire week--by letting him "ride" Bert and explore all the controls. I didn't catch his name, but he is an absolute gem! Thank you for your kindness and for making a little boy's dreams come true. We can't wait to come back and visit Bert again! This is a great neighborhood hardware store that has everything the big box hardware stores don’t carry. It’s a friendly family like atmosphere where they welcome their customers and spend quality time with them for their shopping needs. I like the assistance they offer and are very knowledgeable with all the hardware supplies they carry. A nice store and centrally located here in town.
