Moving to LA three years ago, I struggled so much to find a nail tech who could actually deliver quality work. I tried a few shops around the area, but my Gel-X sets would start lifting within a single week. Out of pure frustration, I resorted to making the long drive all the way back to Costa Mesa just to get my Gel-X and pedicures done properly. That all changed when I saw a woman out in public with a flawless set of nails. I was so captivated by her design that I had to ask where she got them done. She told me her nails never lift and pointed me toward Skylar Nails. I decided to give them a try, and I have been beyond satisfied ever such since!
I was a walk-in and was seated when I arrived. The wait was about 7 min. Two people work on you if you're getting manicure & pedicure services. Minimal noise, music in the background. I felt the prices were reasonable for the services received

This place is always overstaffed, which makes it perfect for walk-ins—convenient if you’re like me and can’t commit to booking an appointment in advance. You’ll get in quickly, no problem.
Now, the real gamble starts once you sit down. Depending on who you choose (or who chooses you), you’re rolling the dice.
