My hair was relaxed for 10 years. I finally got the big chop but I didn’t really know what it took to care for natural hair. I Love Lulu has saved my (hairs) life! The new location is so cute and all of the stylists are awesome. I have seen Tiauna most recently/often and she always knows how to keep my “frobob” quenched and balanced. I met Lulu for the first time at my last haircut and she blew my mind with how much knowledge and understanding she has for natural hair newbies like me. While there are many positives with this salon there is next to no hospitality. I was greeted curtly by the receptionist when I entered the salon. There is next to no seating. I understand this salon has a small footprint but, in my opinion, the space is being misused and is poorly designed. There were two folding chairs wedged uncomfortably by the door. It is unrealistic to think that no one will ever have a need to sit down while waiting. I was refused a glass of water when I asked the receptionist for one. I loved the peaceful and friendly atmosphere of the shop. The decorations and merch are too cute as well! I'm so thankful for the steam that comes with a wash because it rehydrated my hair that turned to straw after being in 117°F Vegas weather!
