First, the decor/ambiance: absolutely charming and beautiful -- love coming for a sauna/cold plunge and tea in the garden. You can even order from the restaurant next door as well (Butcher's Daughter).Ok, so now onto the in-room massage: sadly, it was probably the most disappointing massage I've ever had...felt like someone was just lightly slathering oil on my skin. I did let the receptionist know of my experience, and was told that's just the style of the "ayurvedic" massage; yikes. Isn't an ayurvedic massage supposed to hit pressure points? I had a really great experience here. There is no parking anywhere so just pay the $12 valet on the corner. You’ll spend 30 minutes trying to find parking on the main street and the residential areas. While there, they provided robes, sandals and water. The shower had lotion, body wash and shampoo. We did the sauna/cold plunge for 30 and it felt rushed so I recommend doing it for more time to thoroughly enjoy your time here.

5 Stars for Devin F. Extremely gifted. Incredibly Mindful. Would definitely return back to Den Mother. This was my 2nd visit here and I just came out of my “Keep Your Head Massage” and I need a membership to this service! I could get this treatment done morning and night every single day. Thanks Den Mother & Devin for the quick getaway in the heart of Abbot Kinney. ?❤️
