“Titan Leard and his team performed exceptionally when they reframed our attached home. I am the owner of and have been directly involved in the major remodel and addition on our home. It is a 56-year-old, attached townhome that never got as much attention as it needed from prior owners. There was a significant amount of dry rot and termite damage throughout the wooden framing, siding, cathedral ceiling, and trim. And, as part of one of the first housing projects in Irvine, now a thriving city, it was built on a low budget.

Titan brought with him almost 40 years of experience in framing and municipal inspection and a team of hard-working, motivated and smart people. Now at the end of the job, their work has paid off. We have a new, modern frame that fulfills our architect’s plans and meets California’s current high standards for residential construction. It all came together in just a few weeks. The team was there early each and every morning, even over the winter holidays, and got to work immediately. Never anything like a mysterious “no show” or a sudden move to another jobsite. Just quality performance. And, even with the extensive “time and material” work replacing substandard wood members, Titan was very fair in his overall cost. No taking advantage of the situation. That is the way to run a quality business.

I also need to mention that Titan came up with several “in the field” suggestions for improving the aesthetics and integrity of the framing to adapt to actual conditions. We discussed them with our architect and structural engineer, both of whom agreed with almost all of the adaptations. So, our home is not only going to be new and modern quality, but the spaces also feel better.

“We have used Morey Remodeling Group for several projects over the years, which included renovated kitchen, patio addition, renovated bathrooms, adding a bathroom, new driveway, new windows, new flooring, new stair railing, bedroom extension and adding a front porch which resulted in changing the roof line of the house. In 1980 we contracted with a company to remodel our home, adding two bedrooms, a family room, and a bathroom. A job that the company promised would be completed in 3 months actually took nine months. It was a total nightmare. It was such an awful experience, it caused us to change our minds about the kitchen renovation that we had planned for later.

Almost 10 years later, we finally decided to remodel our 1950s kitchen but still were not having very much success in finding a company that we felt was trustworthy. Friends introduced us to Ben Morey and after discussing with him our needs and our budget and the assurances he made to us, we finally felt that we had found a contractor that we could trust to work on our home. We contracted with him for our kitchen remodel, patio addition, new driveway, and new windows. Everything that he promised was completed with a very high level of expertise and craftmanship and on schedule. Most impressive was that the total project was completed more than a week ahead of schedule. Ben had promised that we would be able to cook our Thanksgiving dinner in our new kitchen. We were overjoyed to be cooking our first meal shortly after Veteran’s Day.

We were so impressed with Ben work ethics and his expertise and professionalism, that a year later we contracted with him to extend a bedroom, add another bathroom and the front porch. Before new permits were issued for the current project, City Hall informed Ben that we had outstanding permits from our 1980 remodel (the nightmare was back). I automatically went into panic mode, but Ben assured us that he could resolve the problem and of course he did. Two months later we had a bedroom with more space and a larger closet, a new bathroom, a front porch, and a new roof. We were completely happy with the high quality of the work and once again the project was completed as promised.

Most recently when we had water damage in our home, we automatically reached out to Morey Remodeling Group. Since we were getting new floors, we decided to update the kitchen, the stair railing and the fireplace. Once again at the end of the project, we were completely happy with the overall quality of the project.

Communication is key and working with Morey the channels of communication were always open and were a two-way street. It has been a wonderful experience working with the entire Morey team, not just the tradesmen working in our home, but the Design team and the office staff as well.
