“I was first contacted by Dan, whom I believe is the owner. I spoke to him and his son, Tyler, about our side gate that we wanted to have motorized so we could use the clicker to get in and out of. I was a bit skeptical at first since I was communicating only through text/email/phone/photos, but they definitely ended up delivering on their quote, exactly as promised.Tyler showed up with his crew on the day that they said they would, and they finished the job on time. From start to finish, I would say everything took about 3 full weeks. That is from my first initial phone call to the company to when the gate project was completed. They did have a cancellation and asked if I would like to be squeezed into their schedule. “Not being able to find a local fence company in Grass Valley I searched outside my area and found KAL Fence. I'm very glad I did. It took a couple of months because they were very busy but this week they arrived, tore out the old fence and installed a very nice wooden fence, 100 feet in about six hours, wow. My very exact architect partner was very impressed with how straight it was. They also were able to provide and install metal posts, which will extend the fence life considerably. They did extra work for us such as removing an old wire fence and drilling holes for a decorative fence we are creating. Fast, efficient, knowledgeable, easy to deal with. Once he says they'll do it it's done, no further chit chat necessary. I'd hire them again any day.“
