Loomis ACE Hardware is a local, community-oriented store that prides itself on providing amazing service and a wide variety of items. Customers appreciate the reasonable prices, which reflect the quality of service that exceeds that of big box stores. The staff, often local hires, are helpful and friendly, knowledgeable and ready to assist with any project. The store is LGBTQ friendly and supportive, fostering a welcoming environment for all. While parking can be limited, the convenience and personal touch offered by Loomis ACE Hardware make it a cherished resource for the community, embodying the spirit of a friendly, mom and pop shop. The store is also very dog-friendly. They do a superb job of maximizing inventory per sq/ft.
I can’t say enough good things about our local Ace Hardware. They’re always so friendly and helpful, and it really feels like they care about our community. I love that they give our local kids jobs and treat them with so much respect when they come in after school. It means a lot to see a business that supports our youth and our schools the way they do.
No matter what I need, they always seem to have it, and someone is always right there willing to help. We’re really lucky to have them in our town.
ACE packs a good amount of merch into a small space. The store is clean, well lit, and well organized. Staff is professional and polite. The drawback is that options are limited since it's a small store. They literally only had one option for 2 of the items I went for, and didn't sell wood stain because they're adjacent to the local paint store - which makes sense given the square footage of the store. It's a good store if you don't need a variety of options to choose from.
This is the go to place for hardware! I needed a set screw for my kitchen faucet. Mark in the store was very kind and helpful and found the screw for me that i needed. I plan to come here for any future needs.
