I should have made a research on this location before I enrolled to a new doctor at Optum. I can see why the rating is only 2 1/2 stars which is a red flag already. Anyway, I requested for a refill twice already but there was none in my pharmacy. I followed up again for the third time and the person that was on the phone was not helpful at all. I gave a suggestion since I take my medication every month, maybe it should be refilled automatically for efficiency purposes until I meet the dr again on my next annual visit. There was silence on the phone and I thought she hung up already. Anyway, I think I will look for a new doctor that cares for my needs and an understanding...read full review
I'll start by saying I saw Dr. Sung for the first time. She was awesome! Great bedside manner and she addressed all of my concerns. I'd give her 5/5 stars. However this review is for the office. I came in for a routine physical and bloodwork. I got here at 9:40 and waited 20min to see the doctor. After seeing the doctor, I waited almost 35min to have my labs drawn. These were fasting labs as well so I hadn't had anything to eat since dinner the day before. After waiting for 35min, I walked out to tell the office staff that I felt dizzy and shaky. The medical assistant came in shortly after to draw my labs and brought juice/crackers which was very nice. The doctors are fantastic, it's unfortunate the office is not efficient.
I didn't want to leave any stars. This Optum site staff was very unprofessional. I got off work at 2:30pm for my appointment to review my results of my bloodwork @ 3:20pm. I arrived to the office at 3:15pm, waited and waited until 4:00pm with nobody updating me on when I would be seen. My husband was with me and was very upset at the whole situation of me having to wait this long. I was done with the waiting, so I asked for my bloodwork result and proceed to leave when a staff there stopped us wanting to talk. I could go on with what happened after but I don't want to relive that part because it was very upsetting and frustrating. Why would you schedule an appointment at that time and make a patient wait for over 40 minutes without checking in? I was on time, it's not my problem that the doctor's previous appointments went over or the patient came in late. It's not fair for me to continue waiting if I am on time. I am done with Optum and will be looking for another healthcare group.
