I'd been dealing with massive pain in my hand and arm for over a month and decided to get a deep tissue massage. I checked all over long beach and Firm Hands was the only place I felt would hit the mark and I was absolutely blown away! I was lucky enough to have Shannyn who worked her way from my shoulder down to the problem fingers. I may have told her that I might yell a bit and she was okay with me hootin, hollerin, and cussin my way through that hour! After, she showed me how much more mobility I gained in my wrist after not being able to move it much for years of sitting at a desk. I wish I could give extra stars for how clean and comfortable the building was.

I had a wonderful experience with Tina. After suffering a serious injury a month ago, this was my first time receiving any therapy—and it made a huge difference. Tina was incredibly skilled at relieving the tightness around my injury and gently stretching my muscles. My body truly needed it, and she applied just the right amount of pressure throughout the session. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
I am so happy I found Shannyn! I’ve had really crazy knots in my shoulders and I’ve never had a massage therapist ever really get them out. She was able to release the knots and tension during my massage. There is a noticeable difference that the bump & inflammation in my traps are now gone. I will be returning to her whenever I need to! Highly recommend for those who have felt like massage therapists were only able to help you relax or touch on tense points but never really release the tension.
