Golden State Dermatology is a comprehensive dermatology care provider with over 20 locations across the San Francisco Bay Area and California's Central Valley. The practice offers a wide range of services, including Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer, medical treatments, cosmetic treatments, and in-house pathology. Patients praise the staff's friendly and professional demeanor, as well as the doctors' ability to make them feel comfortable and informed about their procedures. Most of the time, we go to these medical practices for routine checks. But when a recent urgent (not emergency!) situation came up, I was seen in 48 hours with an on-time appointment and pro-active, thorough care. Thank you, GSD!
I go to Christine Sung, a PA in Lodi. She's excellent. Very patient and actually does more than just a cursory glance and pat on the head. The Mohs surgeon, Dr. Chao is also great. The only drawback is the wait time in the waiting room. It's usually a 30 - 45 minute wait to get into the exam room, unless you get the first appointment in the morning, or the first one after lunch.
Steven Meeks listened to my concerns , offered options and suggestions, was not pushy but informative.The meds and routines he recommended gave me much relief with my problem. Really appreciate his sense of making you feel comfortable in your visit. Thank you Steven!
