I lost all cooling and called Blackwell. Gabriel came on time the came the same day. He was very knowledgeable and and ran the problem down quickly. I ended up having Chris come out and pricing a new complete system as mine was fairly old. I found the pricing to be very competitive and I went with Blackwell.
Recently had an air conditioner and heater put in by Blackwell Services, my normal go-to company apparently joined Services with them, trusting their judgement, I scheduled an appointment with them. After setting up the estimate, and meeting with the estimator, we came to an agreement and set up service for a few days later. On the day of our appointment, Freddy and his assistant showed up on time, were extremely professional, jovial and seemed to actually enjoy their work. Freddy Was sure to let us know every step that they were doing. Always asked permission to enter the house when needed, etc. He went above and beyond in making sure everything was done, done correctly, and that everything was working to satisfaction before leaving the job. I sadly cannot remember whom assisted him on the first day, but on the second day David was his assistant. Both of them were also professional and seemed determined to get the job done right. I'd definately reccomend Blackwell as a Heating & Air company. In fact, my mother's house needs central heat and air put in soon, and I will be giving my business to Blackwell again soon.
We had our furnace die due to a cracked heat exchanger. Our normal HVAC guy Lemo's Heating and Air had joined forces with this company to do some of his big jobs. We made an appointment with Chris and he showed up promptly and on time. Chris discussed our replacement options and related costs. After we made our decision to replace our whole system with a high efficiency heat pump unit, we were scheduled for install. The crew showed up on time and got right to work. They removed the old unit and our relatively new A/C compressor with zero damage to our home. They let me know what they were doing every step of the progress. Unfortunately, this was a two day install and it was a bit nippy in our house. Once the install was completed, they went over the operation of the unit and cleaned up their mess that they made. They tarped all the flooring that they were on, and made it look like they were never there. They did have to come back today to patch Sheetrock holes they made to run the new electrical to the unit. Overall, so far we were very happy with their work, their prices were excellent, and the whole crew was polite and courteous.
