“I've had the pleasure of knowing Eber Coplin for about 30 years. I knew that he is a barber by trade, but I've never visited his shop, or knew his story, until now. After reading the Sentinel article, I am even more impressed with this soft-spoken, easy-to-like man, whom I have only had the good fortune to see at the annual Coplin Family gatherings, that celebrate his late mother. affectionately known as Nana.

My connection to Eber Coplin is in the form of a first cousin of mine, Kittie, born and raised in Hanford, who is married to Eber's younger brother, Kenny (Kenneth).

Being a follicly-challenged man, I truthfully gave up getting haircuts years ago, and resorted to cutting my own hair -- what little there is to cut. But, I think I owe it to myself, to pay Eber a surprise visit at his Coplin's Barber Shop, and let a master do what he does best.“
