Such kind and caring staff. My 6 m/o St Bernard decided he wanted to move in there and it was really hard to get him back into the car to go home. He's looking forward to his next visit.
They are swift and compassionate. I have taken our pets to Smith for a bit now and love them. When we had to put our dog down, they were compassionate about our feelings and gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. Their prices are reasonable as well. They do recommend yearly blood work, however, which is a bit pricy for some. But even though you want a place where you can get your pet in quickly? Unfortunately, it is not available 24 hours, but within a day or two, this is the place.
I recently adopted a puppy from the local animal shelter that was not in the best shape. Luckily, I called Smith’s and got an appointment same day! I was able to get antibiotics for our little guy and be sent on our way home within an hour or less. The Doctor even noticed our puppy needed treatment for mange which the shelter hadn’t noticed or disclosed. The whole intake, exam and exiting process was efficient and a breeze. Our pup is in such great spirits and getting better everyday. Thank you to the friendly Doctor and amazing staff at Smith Veterinary Hospital.
