“Did a walk in with my 4 year old on a Wednesday ~11am and Lamar was able to cut his hair after a short wait. Lamar was extremely kind, professional and knew how to work with younger folk (including someone who has general anxiety when it comes to getting his hair cut.) “I used to be a walk-in and always got a chair within 30 minutes. I now go to CJ and I always get an appt within a day. I am always happy with my cut whether it a #2 fade with a shaver or a razor skin-fade with hot towels. Music playlists is diverse and always playing. Conversations are good. There's just something to be said about a neighborhood barbershop where everyone is cool and friendly. Just a little PSA: The barber is underrated and under appreciated. If you think about it, you are entrusting your barber to make you look good. They do what they do to allow you to represent yourself with a clean or professional look. They help you get dates. They can help you get hired or get a promotion. I know I can't do that on my own so I make sure I tip my barber well because I appreciate him for helping me look good when I go out into the world.“
