Cool spot for fresh cuts, everyone here has a great personality and are very friendly. First time coming in for a cut and the vibe is that as if you're visiting a friends house.
I've been a customer for ten years and will continue to be. Pleasant conversation and an be at home comfortable type of atmosphere let's you relax and enjoy! Great shaves too!
I used to go to this barber shop back in the 80s when I lived in this part of town since it was close by. It's your old-school barber shop, nothing fancy. I came back here recently for a haircut, just to see how much it has changed since the last time I was here. I was glad to see that the owner, Rick, is still there and still as friendly as ever. There are 3 barber chairs in the shop but only Rick and one other barber were on duty that day, so the wait was a bit longer than I anticipated (on a Saturday afternoon with about 4 other customers waiting). Fortunately, I got Rick to cut my hair. We got to talking and he and his wife knew my late neighbor who lived across the street from me. He was sorry to learn that my neighbor passed away several years ago. Apparently, this was significant news, since he said he couldn't wait to tell his wife! When Rick was done, he handed me a mirror to take a look at the results, which he accomplished perfectly. :-) Before I left, I paid Rick and noticed the prices of regular men's haircut had jumped quite a bit since the 80s (from $13.00 to $18.00). Regardless, I was happy with his work and I reminded him that I was a customer back in the 80s. He said I must be happy with their work to return. He was right. This is a good place to go if you're nearby and looking for a good haircut in an old-school barber shop.
