After getting a botched haircut in Downey I came to this location because my son had picture day the next day. Jessica, an older blonde Hispanic lady helped us. And did a good job doing a scissor cut. Which seems basic but so many stylist don't know how to do it. I was gonna have her cut my hair as well but didn't due to the botched bob being way too short but I definitely will bring my husband in to get his haircut.
Yesterday my father and I were looking for someone to cut his hair. After driving to 3 different stores that were closed, I remembered Great Clips which is next to Kinectka bank in Lakewood. We walked in and were almost immediately assisted by Jessica. She greeted us and asked dad what he wanted done. He wasn't looking for a super difficult cut but insisted on going short. Jessica obliged and did a good job, dad was a happy camper. The salon was nice and clean with the pricing being $10 less than their competitor. That's a win in my book. They also made sure to advise us of the Great Clips app. Which allows us to check in and view wait times from home. We have found a place close to my parent's home and will definitely be back for dad's regular trims.
The lady that cut my hair today, made sure she understood what I told her, she was very nice and friendly, quick and good at what she's doing. I think it's a great service for the price, 22 bucks for adults!
