As a stubborn runner that just moved to the area, I was looking for a chiropractor that would be realistic about my back injury, but encourage me to stay active. Dr. Deliberato has done exactly that, keeping me going through a half marathon training cycle and then some. (Obviously this can vary depending on injury, but I appreciated his willingness to make it work.)
He also provides stretches and exercises that help strengthen any imbalances and improve my running/cross training.
It's a team effort between the two of us to keep me going, which I really appreciate. Dr. Deliberato's explanations of what's happening each adjustment is exactly what I was looking for.
His personal attention and thorough appointments have been light and day with previous chiropractors I've seen. (Ie, texting after more significant adjustments and even calling me after new symptoms popped up during a run.)
You'll likely spend longer at each appointment than with other practices, but it's because of how thorough he is with every adjustment. The Gonstead technique has helped me significantly, and I continue to go back regularly!
