Two little wooden stakes that hold the 'bendy board' in place are failing (disintegrating) and now the bendy board is creeping up. I asked No Mow Turf if the next time they were in my area they could swing by and screw in two new little stakes and I was told there would be a 'trip charge' because it was outside the warranty period. If they would use plastic stakes, instead of wood, this likely would not ever be a problem. Then I got a very snotty email from the owner advising me that I was making a "misrepresentation", "this is not how human beings are to interact", and further explained that "the crew is responsible for go back repairs, and this is usually done on their own dime". At the same time I noticed that under the "Workers Compensation PERSONNEL LIST" only the owner, Patrick, is listed, so maybe the "crew" are not employees, rather instead they are sub-contractors. I wonder if THEY are insured in the event there's an accident on someone's property? I was never advised the crew were subcontractors, I thought they were employees.

We would recommend NoMow Turf with a 5 Star rating. From the time we first contacted them through installation nothing but professionalism. Our salesperson, Sierra, was professional and took timed to explain each step in the process. When the crew arrived for installation we were amazed how well they worked as a crew. The installation took place during an extreme heat wave with humidity and they just kept up the pace and did a beautiful job. We are extremely satisfied with every step of the process. If you are thinking of having turf installed by all means contact NoMow Turf, you won't be disappointed.
