Rebecca was extremely helpful and informative . She walked us through with compassion . Explained options for caskets in and out of their business which I appreciated. Joe was the nicest man with uplifting friendly spirit. He checked on us when we were there. Got our death certificates in a timely manner. And a beautiful white hearse delivered my mom to the cemetary.. But the absolute 5 star person. Was Phil! Phil was our officiant . McCormick’s brought Phil to us and he made the Day for me . he covered my mom’s life perfectly. He made me so. Very happy. . He played the music I chose and her service was lovely.
McCormick & Son Mortuary were incredibly supportive. Over the course of a week, I visited and called them multiple times with various questions. Michael was so understanding. We were able to transform the chapel into an extension of Mom's warm and welcoming living room while showcasing her gallery of quilts. The adjacent room was perfect for gathering and light refreshments. Thank you so much for being so accommodating—we're forever grateful.
Miranda was exceptional!! I lost my mom in October and this was the first time I’d lost a parent. When I met with Miranda, she had a sense of calm and kindness that seemed to make everything at the moment a little bit better. Throughout the entire process, she went above and beyond my expectations to make things easier for my family, even making sure that the death certificates got to our estate attorney, since we were from out of state and had to travel back home for a couple weeks before coming back out to Laguna Beach to finalize everything.
