We couldn't be happier with the finished product or the process and people we worked with at K and B. (See pics, including a couple of before shots and prior corroded shower enclosure, new one frameless). My wife and I did a ton of prior research, got multiple bids from contractors regarding traditional tile installation jobs and other one - piece options. The material is a manufactured quartz, whole slabs, so no grout lines, looks good, not cheap. It goes over the top of your existing tile, SO no demo, damage or dust. That was a big one for us. It's faster than a traditional tile job, roughly 3 weeks for our large shower tub, including new shower glass from KB's recommended glass guy. KB's recommended plumber did a nice job with plumbing fixtures. Big plus--no ugly metal trim on the edges or corners that you get with a traditional tile job, the quartz sheets fit together beautifully, mitered edge. (see photo of metal trim you see on other jobs) Sales and project manager Fred was great and accessible by phone when issues came up. Installer Emilio was skilled, professional and a pleasure to work with. We've been using the shower now for a few months and it's great, just squeegee off the walls and shower glass, no grout clean up or work. They also use a quality epoxy grout on the shower floor, which holds up better than typical grout.
