About LaVerne Cemetery - An Abbey Rose Memorial Property
LaVerne Cemetery - An Abbey Rose Memorial Property is a well-maintained and historic cemetery that offers a peaceful resting place for individuals of all backgrounds. The cemetery boasts a beautiful view of the mountains and is home to various wildlife, creating a serene atmosphere for visitors. The cemetery has a rich history, with markers dating back to the pioneer days and founding Lordsburg patriarchs. However, the cemetery has faced some challenges in the past, with previous owners allowing the property to fall into disrepair. The current owners, Abbey Rose Memorial Parks, have taken steps to restore the cemetery to its former glory, upgrading the irrigation system, maintaining the grass, and addressing issues such as overgrown and dead trees, and unstable headstones. While the cemetery has sections dedicated to Muslim burials, which some visitors find "militaristic" and obtrusive, the current management has been praised for their understanding and accommodating nature. The representatives, particularly Diego, have been described as helpful, kind, and proactive in addressing any concerns or requests from visitors. Overall, LaVerne Cemetery is a well-maintained and historic resting place that offers a peaceful and serene environment for those who have chosen it as their final resting place. The cemetery's commitment to restoring its former glory and providing excellent customer service has been widely appreciated by the community.

Find-a-Grave website has also brought us to these lonely places to look for loved ones.
