I had a concussion approximately a year ago that I was still suffering vision problems from and I finally saw the eye doctor and I was told that I needed prism glasses. Which is great however trying to find a place to get prism glasses proved very difficult and also the frames were very heavy and very hard and unattractive. I had called Old Town Optix La Quinta and spoke with a representative named Roberta and she told me that there was an option where I could actually get prism films to attach to practically any kind of prescription glasses and we set that up. I brought my 92-year old friend in on a Saturday appointment to see Dr Wilamart. Dr. Wilamart was pleasant and patient with my friend. A thorough examination was performed and some minor adjustments made for her. Then Roberta took over to see what EyeMed benefits she had for a new pair of glasses. Roberta was excellent and our friend felt very comfortable. This office is well worth the trip to come to wherever you live in the Coachella Valley! We were never hurried and good decisions were made all around.
