Marcus came to our home with only a few hour notice to fix our pool heater as we had guests in town and they wanted to use the hot tub. I greatly appreciated that. We of course paid his $150 fee and it was worth it. After asking what he did, add a part etc.?Hhe said he would not disclose his diagnosis. Three weeks later the heater was not working again. I texted asking if he could tell me what he did. I can’t pay him $150 every three weeks (we desperately need new pool equipment and are working on it). Wow, wow, wow!!!! All I can say. We filed a claim with AHS and they sent someone out (not Marcos). It was a JOKE. Guy didn’t even look at anything. Have it on video. I called AHS back and told them I wanted someone else out here. They sent Marcos!!!! His guy Juan came out and was amazing. He spent quite a bit of time to isolate the problem. THEN, he brought Marcos back out just to confirm. First, it was complete obvious that the salt system board was fried. There was a char mark. Then they isolated the problem with the heater. i am a d.y.i. type of guy and have an insight to the experience of a repair technician , on my call to feel out "Marcos" on his ability to troubleshoot my out of the basic Pentair pool heater, he passed my first test. , knowing that this was a complicated problem it was impressive to watch him think out the possible options , as he went through the basic ones to the not so basic to 'this part just doesn't' fail, i started to throw parts at the heater he was less expensive then my parts that i installed , nice guy, friendly and thorough.
