About Twilight Nail Salon
Twilight Nail Salon has been a staple in the community for years, offering affordable pedicures starting at $12. While some reviewers have mixed experiences, many appreciate the salon's cleanliness and friendly staff. However, some have noted that the salon's facilities may not be the most luxurious, with chairs and foot baths that may not be as comfortable as those at other salons. Additionally, some technicians may not be as skilled or attentive as others, and some customers may not feel like they receive a relaxing experience. Despite this, many customers have developed a loyal following and return to the salon for its affordable prices and decent service. One reviewer, Danny, stands out for his exceptional skills and professionalism, and is highly recommended by some customers. Overall, Twilight Nail Salon may not be the most upscale or luxurious salon, but it offers a reliable and affordable option for those on a budget.
End up coming to Twilight they've been here for years and I really enjoyed their service. The ladies are always nice and they always look really fast and the prices are very good too I love this place and I recommend others to stop by and give it a try
Cleanliness: This place is very clean and the service is great
If your looking for a quick cheap pedicure for $12 bucks regular color this is your placeBut remember "you get what you pay for" and I'll tell you up front you won't be sitting on a massage pedicure comfortable lounge chair and getting the foo foo feet treatment or Laying back relaxing. Nope-You sit in regular chair and put your feet in a bucket of Dawn water. They cut your toenails and if you want your ingrown toenails cut out, you need to be very specific and tell them to stop if it hurts. I took my sister in there with me few months back and she said she'll never go back there cuz they hurt her toes pulling out the ingrowns. Her's ended up getting infected and took a week to feel better and be able to wear shoes. I felt so bad because we were doing a sister thing together and I brought her there back to "hey it's only $12 bucks let's go and we both hadn't had a pedi in months, her years. They paint comes with $12 or do gel cost $10 or so extra but I don't do gel there anymore because it seems different then other salons. And I'm not going to pay extra if there going to chip and look grungy in few days after wearing tenni shoes. But it's really fine for me every once in awhile because I'm on a fixed low income and I can't afford a $40-$75 pedi so with this place I go in couple times a year on a special occasion or when needed. Better to make appointment b4 you go. And either way prepare to wait a while anyways. But back to $12.They've always been nice to me or courteous shall I say but they are not "talkers" if your looking for conversation with your mail tech, that's not the place. You go in you go out. I hear complaints from others. But I'm not going in there to make friends so I don't care I'm going cuz they do inexpensive pedicures. It's just not a good vibe in there. But I know they have their regular customers that are happy with their nails. So to each his own. And I'm 60 I've been to a million salons in my life. I just didn't go there for the holidays this year,I treated myself to a $40 pedicure elsewhere, wear I got to recline in a massage pedicure chair and got a decent pedicure & gel but it wasn't worth the $40 bucks either. So It's just hard finding a good nail salon anywhere in La Puente. My advice to the owner if you'd like to achieve more business... First-Smile when a customer walks in. Be nice-Be friendly. Invest in a couple of pedicure massage chairs. I'm sure you can find reasonable priced used from another company going out of business or on line. Use soap that is made for our feet. I know Dawn is good, I use it to wash my dishes but I don't want to soak my feet in it while I'm getting a pedicure. I was shocked one time it was a year or 2 ago I saw an employee pour the Dawn in my pedi water behind that curtain. Listen I'm sure you can buy a gallon of milk & honey soap at the dollar tree or 99 cent store anything is better then using dish soap. And listen I am not writing this review to be mean or rude or be vindictive at all. Please forgive me. But I'm speaking the truth. I give all your technicians a lot of credit for even having to do pedicures for people, it's very hard work that's why I am a great tipper cuz I feel bad for you. God knows I wouldn't want the job much less do it. I couldn't. It all just makes me wonder if your all being made to work in that place by the expressions on your faces and behaviors I am very aware of. You all look exhausted & miserable. And if you can maybe think about changing careers or salons and work somewhere else where you'll be happy. Life is too short not to be.
Been coming to this place for over 20 years. I've had all nail technicians do my nails but are either in a rush or moody, EXCEPT Danny. He's professional at a much higher level. I CAN CLOSE MY EYES and he has always done an amazing job. Very very happy with him. I recommend this place but Only to see Danny. Thank you so so very much.
