He asked questions to pinpoint the pain and after the adjustment he had me walk around to make sure that it had alleviated the pain. “Dr. Prieto changed my life. I have been suffering from pain all over by body, but especially in my si joints, neck and upper back for over 5 years. I have seen approximately 18 doctors of various specialities, had multiple cortisone shots, epidural injections, nerve blocks, acupuncture, massage and have been in physical therapy for 3 years. All of these treatments haven’t been successful and all of the doctors I had seen could not figure out why I was not responding to any treatment. I saw Dr. Prieto to get his opinion and to see if he could help me. I spent a lot of time with him as he went over my health history taking detailed notes of all of my symptoms and treatments I had tried thus far. He asked me questions no other doctor had asked me with the most important one being “Have you ever seen a rheumatologist?” I told him I had not. I came into his office with the intent of purchasing a package of chiropractic treatments and he advised me not to buy anything or start treatment with him until I saw a rheumatologist. I saw a rheumatologist and it turns out I have psoriatic arthritis. I appreciate how he referred me to see a rheumatologist instead of just taking my money not knowing if he would be able to help me.
