“My back went out on me in January. I was having lower back pain for about two months. I tried everything I could think of. “I originally came here to try acupuncture after trying various other forms of treatment for shoulder, low back, and leg pain. It was explained to me that my insurance would cover the acupuncture but any other treatment would be out of pocket. Dr Whang suggested I try 3-5 sessions of cupping as well as the acupuncture. After the first session I noticed some relief. We ended on session 4 with some herbal medicine to take for a week after. I haven't felt this good in years. This treatment has helped me more than physical therapy, chiropractic and the general doctor. I no longer feel the constant need to stretch my legs and back to get pain relief. I truly believe that Dr. Frank Sung Om was sent to me because my body needed healing. I was referred to him by my insurance since I had an accidental fall from grace at work from helping a patient. Thankfully, I didn't break anything, just my spirit and some minor soft tissue damage. I'm not a fan of needles, but I'm also not a fan of medication, so I wanted to try another alternative to healing. My parents love acupuncture, but I was skeptical. I decided to give Hana Wellness a try and thank God I did.I feel so much better. Dr. Frank Sung Om is a miracle worker. He is a 4th generation healer, meaning his dad was a healer, his grandfather, and his grandfathers dad. He's been practicing since 1999, so it's been almost 24 years. The office is very clean and neat. Dr. Om himself is very kind, friendly, and very patient. He is also a Christian. When he isn't working, he volunteers at his local church. I am very fortunate to have met him. After 7 sessions, I already feel a difference. Surprisingly, when I first came in, I was a hot mess. I was in agonizing pain, and it was hard to work with me. I thought the needles would be painful, but they really weren't. After a while, I felt very relaxed and allowed my body to just let go and let Dr. Om for his miracle work. “I came in with the most excruciating upper back pain on my right side. I think it may have been a pinched nerve or strained muscle. The pain I felt was initially like a 8 or 9, where almost every movement hurt. I had to cancel my plans for the next few days because I was barely hanging in there even with the pain meds.Anyways, I chose Sams clinic because the reviews about him were awesome.
