It's a good place to find out if your kid has the interest and skill for dance, but once you find out that they do, I would strongly recommend going to a more professional studio. This studio lacks the professionalism and comradery you get at any other studio. The theory and dance technicality is lacking. There's a lot of emphasis on costumes, at least for the younger folklorico classes, that is. If you need stress in your life, join this studio. The owner (and main teacher) is not organized which adds to the stress. I would recommend these other places: TAF in La Habra, Foklorico Leyenda in Orange, Steps of Gold in Whittier. Bigger and better location! Same professional owners and highly skilled and experienced teachers. Students clearly improve in skill and have fun. Fitness classes here are enjoyable! Recommend to both first time dancers and experienced dancers!
