Parents, you can trust Alpha Co. This is a place you want to send your kids long term. All the tutors here are very experienced and dedicated. The tutors are mostly recent college graduates who are adaptable with their teaching method to suit your child’s educational needs. This is important to me because I’ve tried other places where tutors were much older and weren’t experienced with the new common core method.

Communication is also very easy. They reply to msgs and emails very fast, and they always try their best to accommodate our schedule, which I really appreciate because kids’ schedules can be a bit chaotic. Sometimes they offer schedule changes...read full review

I started going to Alpha Co when I was in my second semester of freshman year in high school. I was struggling with my classes and needed extra help with my academics. I tried a lot of different cram schools in the area and this one was the best fit for me. The tutors I worked with cared about my individual needs and worked around my hectic schedule. They helped me with my AP classes, SAT studies, and guided me through my college application. With their help, I was able to improve my grades and was admitted to Pepperdine University for Fall 2023. I am so thankful to the tutors here for the time and dedication they put in for my academic success.

My name is Chloe Kim. I was a student there since my freshman year of high school. Now I will be working as an academic tutor during their summer program with elementary students. I am beyond excited!! I can't believe I came this far in my life. It's incredible!! I just recently graduated from Crescenta Valley High School. I will be attending California State University of Long Beach as of 2023. My major is liberal studies in which I will be studying to become a preschool/ T-K teacher. My experience at Alpha has been incredible and a journey. I was not a very confident student during my freshman year of high school. I had no clue on how to be organized and study well. But, as I started coming more often they taught me simple life skills ( study strategies, advocate for yourself and how to be organized in creating a study schedule). They encouraged me to keep trying even though things were more challenging for me. I am beyond grateful. Due to this experience, my senior year was a year that I became the most confident and independent I had ever been. I passed all of my classes even English in which I wasn't very good in. Would definitely recommend this tutoring center for students who are not confident in studying or staying organized.
