“I always get my hair cut by Martha Lugo - she's really great! I'm a guy with mid-length, very curly hair and I find that there's a lot of variability in how good people are at cutting curly hair so that it still looks good when it's dry, or when it's windy, etc. A friend with curly hair (who's since moved out of town) recommended Martha to me as someone who's good at cutting curly hair, and she's always done a great job for me! I've been coming here for years now and had my most recent haircut a couple weeks ago.

Martha is also very friendly, remembers details from things we'd talked about months earlier on the last visit, and always works with me to figure out how long I want it to be and how I want it styled. I'd definitely recommend her!“

“The experience I had with Geneva was unlike any personal service I have ever received in the best possible way. It was facial combined with some cranial sacral work and a neck and shoulder massage. It was one of the most relaxing and restorative experiences that I have ever had. Up until yesterday I thought I didn't enjoy facials. My skin looks incredible today AND the facial felt delicious. I followed her business in 2017 when she opened her studio, as she is by far the best esthetician I have been to. This week, I am turning 23 and extremely happy with my skin. I used to struggle with cystic acne during my teenage and young adulthood years. Denise taught me how to prevent acne scars, calm my face, and protect myself from severe breakouts. “Michelle is kind, professional, and really good at what she does. Sugaring isn’t painless, let’s be honest. This is hair removal, not a spa nap. But she works quickly, makes it as comfortable as possible, and walks you through the process so you’re not just gripping the table in silence.

I have sensitive skin and this is one of the few places that doesn’t leave me irritated for days. Everything she uses is all natural, and my skin handles it well. She also offers spray tans if that’s your thing.

The bathrooms are actually clean. Not “we wiped the counter real quick.” Clean. Complimentary tampons and wipes are stocked, which tells me she’s thinking about her clients beyond the appointment.

There’s free Jolly Ranchers and gum in the waiting area. A little sugar before the sugar. Booking online is easy. There’s plenty of parking in the back. I’ve been coming for years and I still drive from Ventura. That’s not casual loyalty; it’s because she’s that good.“
