The UCI Health Weight Management Team is awesome, and the Program is extremely effective. I have been on the program a little over 4 months and I have lost about 70 pounds. More important my health has improved dramatically. At the start of the Program my A1C was managed by multiple Diabetes medications and was approximately 6.2. Now my most recent lab work reflected an A1C of 5.0 without the aid of any diabetes medications. Not only have I dropped Diabetes medications, but I am either off or reduced other meds as well. All you need to do is follow the advice of the Doctor and dietician and you too can achieve these results. Great Program and even better people equal outstanding results. Oh, and the best part is I needed to lose weight in order to get hip replacement surgery and I am now 3+ weeks post-surgery and moving better than I can even remember.
