Finally decided to try something new! Stayed in the brown family but added highlights for that pop! Oanh has been taking care of my hair for YEARS, and till this day I swear her hands make my hair grow! The salon is always clean with good music.... And AC is wonderful (sometimes I just want to hangout there when it's hot outside). Interestingly enough, we cut 2 inches off my hair with long layers and my hair looks longer than before. I'm excited to see what's next for my hair in the coming months.

Oanh is the best colorist out here. Not only is she sweet and funny, she's also professional, talented, and personable!!! I always leave her salon so happy with my hair. She offers the best hair advice and listens to what you want. I was referred to Oanh by a family friend and I feel so fortunate. She knows what she's doing and takes the time to explain what she is going to do. Oanh really cares about her clients and wants them to be happy with the end product. I've been coming here since I found out Painted Strands was in West Covina. I come to see Oanh for my haircuts and she never disappoints. She always gives me tips and advices on my hair. Highly recommend! I love the shop which is on the second floor of the plaza where Tokyo Central also is. Plenty of parking!
