The team at a Kempt is fantastic! I've been a long time client for over 6 years. Both locations have talent, so you can't go wrong, whether it's Katie @ South Coast Plaza store or Sue & Ken over at the Irvine location.... they've taken great care of me every time. My whole service experience from being warmly greeted as I enter, grabbing a chilled beverage.... and all the way through great scalp massage and ultimately a fantastic men's hair cut. The stylists listen with intentionality and deliver a premium cut & style every time. I’ve had haircuts here several times before with Karen and Ken, and they were generally able to meet my expectations. A few days ago, I had an appointment with Jayde, and I have to say—she was extremely unprofessional.

She didn’t deliver anything close to what I expected. It ended up being the worst haircut I’ve had at this salon.

Even after trimming and adjusting for 30 minutes, the result was still noticeably uneven—one part of the back taper stuck out more than the rest. It’s hard to believe a stylist like this charges $70.

went in to kempt haircuts for free haircut and they said “welcome ryan” while opening the door guided me to the changing room let me change into a complimentary t shirt so i won’t get mine messy with hair after guided me to a chair with a warm towel and started my shampoo plus 3 step conditioning process, dried me off and asked if it was okay to give a massage i said yes and massaged my head, neck, ears , shoulders, and upper back after my haircut cleansed plus moisturized my face/ hairline and dried plus styled my hair with a blow dryer, comb and styling products best service ever from the start to the end
