Jay was PHENOMENAL!! He was incredibly friendly, patient, and informative throughout my entire digital perm appointment. He gave lots of insightful tips and thoughts on every single question I asked him. He took great care in explaining what perm style, cut, and color, would best suit my face shape and complexion, and why. My session felt educational in a way, because I left learning a lot. He was also very patient in teaching me how to best care for my permed hair. I felt like a mermaid when I first saw my perm result; absolutely in love! Will definitely become a loyal customer from now on.
I've been coming to the salon every month for around 2 years now. My hair stylist's name is Vic, and he's always done a great job with my hair and clearly has a good command of what Styles look good on what head shape and so forth. Over the course the last few years he has gotten increasingly difficult to book with because he is so popular and has so many clients at this point. However he always makes time for me and I really appreciate that. One thing that's important to note is that this is a primarily Mandarin speaking business and I have to speak Mandarin with the majority of the workers here, but they do have English speaking stylists as well. They're also seems to be some other hairstyles who rent a chair here and only come here occasionally, but the full-time staff is all Mandarin speaking. Overall the salon itself is quite modern and chic, and there's always good music playing here. Highly recommend if you are Asian and looking for a Asian hair eccentric salon, which can be pretty hard to come by outside of the Southern California area.
Thank you Kimi! I liked my hair cut and digital perm! He taught me different ways to style my hair. He shared what techniques I can do to emphasize the features of my face and not make it look super round. He shared what products to get. Also great head massage. Will come back!
