I recently had the SMILE procedure done at IQ Laser Vision by Dr. Lin, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! From the first consultation to the actual procedure and follow-up visits, the whole experience was exceptional! Dr. Lin and his team were awesome--they made me feel super comfortable and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Dr. Lin took the time to answer all my questions, and his calm, confident vibe put me at ease. Big shoutout to technician Ashley, who helped with my eye exams during the consultation and before the surgery. Also, thanks to Danielle, the specialist who explained the procedure to me during the consultation--she's so welcoming and sweet! Dr. Grace checked in with me during my follow-up visit on the second day after surgery and ensured everything was on track. I also want to thank the optometrist who helped during my consultation, though I can't remember his name--everyone was fantastic! The procedure itself was quick and, honestly, way less scary than I thought it would be. It was over before I knew it, and it didn't hurt at all! The aftercare instructions were clear. The first couple of days were a bit rough--my eyes were tired, and I saw a lot of halos, especially at night. Driving in the dark was tricky with all the lights blending together. But within a few days, my vision started to improve, and now I wake up every morning with clear vision--no more glasses or contacts! It's such an incredible feeling. I'm jealous of the quality of life of my optometrist husband who had LASIK done 3 years ago. I finally decided to do Zeus's SMILE and LASIK so I wouldn't have to worry about falling asleep with contact lenses, or getting an eye infection after swimming in them. Back in 2019, I literally grabbed my husband's glasses by accident and wore them for hours. Now neither of us need to depend on them! The IQ Laser team was professional. I was impressed that there was even music playing in the background during the procedure. I can tell that patient experience and satisfaction is one of their top priorities. I felt reassured, cared for, understood and educated because of the expertise of the doctors, friendliness of the staff, technicians and my consultant.
