To start things off, i was easily able to do a walk in. The store is located on the same side as where Trader Joe's is and is across from Nektar. Decided to come here out of convenience. The store has a beautiful design and the whole store is very spacious and clean (or by the looks of it). Technician that did my nails was ok. She asked for what I wanted and I chose the middle tier of pedicures ($55). It included a callus remodel, sugar scrub, paraffin wax, and a 7 minute massage (such an odd time cut off). I wanted to try a new spot since it's so close to my job. I went today to get my nails removed and to get a full set the customer service was great but I just sucked at the end when it was time to pay the bill and all of a sudden there's all these additional charges. I don't mind spending a little bit more money to get what I want but I thought it was interesting that I got charged additional because of nail length I didn't think my nails are that long but that was an additional charge I get it if you want to cut your cuticles I understand that that's a charge as well but how did I end up spending an additional $30 on top of what I'm paying for? Convenient location in Woodbury and they do excellent work. Although I like the look of longer nails, I need shorter nails for typing all day. I've noticed some salons focus more on longer styles and shapes so it's hard to get a gauge ahead of time for short nails. That being said, I'm really picky about the shape of shorter nails. The only downside is that the price is more expensive than I'm used to compared to my old neighborhood in Laguna. They require that you purchase a package that includes massages that I'd would not otherwise order. I'm not sure if this was a recent price jump or the usual price since I'm new to the neighborhood.
