Is there an option to give Adam and Good Dog OC 10 stars?! My dog Stella and I started training with Adam less than a month ago and I am already seeing amazing improvements in her that I could’ve only dreamed of! Stella is a very vocal dog who likes to announce anything and everything with barking. She’s very anxious with strangers and doesn’t get along with other dogs. At all. And though she knows tons of tricks, she lacks discipline and only chooses to listen when she wants or if there’s a treat as an incentive. Adam’s training has completely transformed her (and we aren’t even finished yet!!!). The first part of the training is just him and your dog. He makes sure your dog understands the commands and training so, unlike with other trainers, you’re not left with a bunch of new training instructions to practice on your dog that doesn’t know yet what you’re saying or what you want. Once your dog is ready, he teaches you so that you can begin practicing at home with your dog 24/7. The best part about Adam’s method is that he doesn’t use treats to reward your dog! He simply teaches the dog that love and good scritches are all the reward they need for being a good dog. I LOVE this because, previously, Stella’s only incentive for following directions were snacks and that girl was getting CHUNKY. Plus now, she’s even more lovable than before because she ALWAYS wants to be pet and loved. Stella no longer pulls on her leash when we go on walks. She stays right by my side and looks for my direction on where to go next. She no longer reacts to the trash and delivery trucks when they drive by our house (this used to be a whole barking ordeal). And the most impressive change: she doesn’t bark at other dogs/ people on our walks anymore!!! She’s the same lovable dog she always was, but with a lot more discipline. Adam has been great with Stella and I can’t believe we’re not even done with training yet when he’s already met all the expectations I had for Stella prior to training. He is very professional, great with doggos, patient, and knows what he’s doing! I couldn’t recommend Adam & Good Dog OC more. What are you still waiting for? Adam is awesome! Since we are all Quarantined, We have not met Adam personally yet. We have had the pleasure of speaking with him twice, where we gained a wealth of information on how to potty train our new puppy and how to best manage her teething issues. He was both knowledgeable and professional while being very generous with his time and effective in his delivery. Once we are free and out of quarantine will be setting up more training. We Potty trained our puppy in literally three days. By the fourth night she was sleeping through the night from 8:15 to 7:30 AM, and we’ve only had her for a week and a half. Amazing!
