Just had a visit with a Dalinghaus rep, come to check out a crack in the foundation of my townhouse. The rep's name is Thomas Cochran. Right on time, friendly and courteous, very professional, easily engaged and easy to warm up to. One of the nicest contractor reps I've ever met. Checked out the crack in my foundation, did a thorough inspection of my house all around, then concluded that the crack is probably nothing to worry about. Warned me to keep an eye on it-- and if it widens or extends signficantly, give them a call-- but in the end said, if it were his house, he'd leave it as is and just keep an eye on it for now. How often do you hear something like that from a contractor? I asked, "Aren't you gonna get in trouble for saying this?" He said honesty pays off over the long run. Wow. If the crack worsens, I'm definitely gonna call Dalinghaus. You should, too.

Brian came out for a free consultation to see if our house had foundation issues. We were getting some cracking in our drywall and wanted to know if it was a settlement issue. Brian measured the various elevations in our house, both inside and outside. He also went down in the crawlspace to observe the foundation. He determined our house did not have a major settling issue. He was knowledgeable about expansive soil and we were able to pick his brain about the kind of soil our house was built on. He talked through potential soil strengthening solutions with us, but didn’t recommend any major work be done at the moment. This company has serious integrity- they come out… read full review
I requested an evaluation due to a crack in our garage floor, and I wanted to be sure nothing more serious was happening. Getting the appointment was very straightforward, and Dalinghaus sent me links to a couple useful videos which I reviewed before my appointment. Phil was very professional in finalizing the timing of the appointment and in performing the evaluation once he was here. Phil determined there was no need for foundation work or repair of the crack in the garage, but he did give me advice on what to look for that might signal something more serious in the future.
