Definitely a hidden gem. There's a wide variety of plants and they're super affordable; got these two for only $4 total! Staff is super friendly. Will definitely come back for future plant needs
I was searching for Japanese Myouga-Ginger and decided to look on Yelp. I came across Aki Nursery in the listings and decided to drop by on Saturday. It's been run by the same family for over 30 years now, and they have a nice selection of plants for all varieties of personal tastes. I even found a Sanshou-pepper tree along with the Myouga, we ended up getting both!
I came here originally in October to complete my zen garden. I wanted plants in the garden, but didn't really have an idea of what plants, other than that I wanted it to be Japanese inspired.I explained this to Emily, and showed her photos of what I had in place. She was very helpful and took me around showing me different varieties of plants. We finally came up with a variety.Several months later after my grass was installed , I was ready to do the purchase. Once again, Emily was very helpful, and could tell I needed further handholding. She even helped me with where to put the plants. I am extremely happy with the end result. Just look at the photos. I will be coming back to Aki Nursery for my indoor plants as well. Thank you so much Emily!
