I have SO much respect for Jonny. I've used him for ALL my HVAC needs for over 15 years. He has repaired every HVAC problem we've ever had at our personal residence (and will eventually be replacing our entire HVAC system here at home), he installed a complete HVAC system from the ground up at a rental we own, and I refer him to clients in my Real Estate business. I can't say enough good things about him - he's friendly, knowledgeable, has great prices, does quality work, responds quickly to my calls, does what he says he'll do when he says he'll do it, and he has a cool South African accent to boot! My latest win with Jonny: Our AC went out this week with a heat wave pending. I did some basic troubleshooting and found the main AC unit in the garage was tripping its GFCI outlet. I called Jonny at 6 PM and he called me back an hour later. Over the phone he asked me to use an extension cord and plug the AC unit into another outlet. I did as he asked and the AC system started working immediately! I replaced the faulty GFCI the next morning and our AC system is as good as new! Jonny's diagnosis was fast, accurate, and he saved me the cost of a service call. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JONNY!
I wanted to share our wonderful experience with Jonny, who has been our go-to AC technician over the years. Initially, he impressed us with his knowledge, honesty, and professionalism when he fixed the AC in our rental property. In late July, our residential AC stopped working. We reached out to Jonny, and he responded immediately. He quickly identified the problem and explained that there could be a coolant leak because there is no coolant, which was the reason why the AC would not turn on. He offered us two options: repair or replace (the AC condenser is 30 years old), and pointed to us its pros and cons respectively. Given the significant price difference and our budget considerations, we opted for a repair. During the repair process, he found the source of the coolant leak, went back to get his welding equipment, came back and welded the tube which had the leak and refreshed the coolant. Since then, our AC has been running perfectly. Jonny basically saved us thousands of dollars from replacing the AC! While fixing the AC, we had more time to chat with Jonny. We found him to be down-to-earth, honest, and pleasant. His passion for his work is evident, and he feels blessed to use his skills to help others. His fees are also very reasonable.
