I had seen 9 different Dr.'s for my chronic pain from a fractured rib and cartilage tear. I was told to take opiods, other pain meds for pain and time will heal. After 10 months of persistent pain I tried Acupuncture. Dr. Chen accepted my insurance plan , so I gave him a try. I was skeptical about Acupuncture since I did not know how it heals but after two weeks of therapy with Dr. Chen, the pain has basically subsided. I can sleep at night and am not taking any pain pills. Dr. Chen is very patient and listens to you. After 4 months of phone conferencing with my regular family doctor and several PT sessions for my Sciatica from an old injury and osteoarthritis, the pain did not improve, my range of motion and movement continued to be limited and sometimes worse. The pain keep me up at night and I had problem stepping on the gas paddle when driving or up and down steps due to the sharp pain traveling from my lower back to the bottom of my foot. My western fmaily doctor recommended more shots in my hip and joints. I normally travel back to my home country to see my Chinses doctor, but due to Covid, I had not been back for two years. My entire family has been helped and healed by Dr. Chen. I am inclined to be sceptical of alternative medicine, but I really respect Dr. Chen, his professionalism, and his methods. He is patient and caring, I can't reccomend enough that everyone who can't find a way to manage their pain or chronic condition try the practice here.
