“I was going to this other barbershop which charged an extra $5 to make an appointment, which I always thought was weird, but I never made an appointment I just always walked in yet they would still often charge me the extra $5 and I never understood why. Plus there was always some awkwardness which I didn't understand either, and they never greeted me when I walked in, they would just look at me like I was doing something wrong, it just felt like they didn't want my business. So I finally decided to find a different barber. I looked on Yelp for recommendations and found Dalajas Barber Shop and thought I would give them a try. I called and asked if they could get me in right away and they said yes and to ask for David when I arrived. When I got there, the owner was at the front and gave me a big smile and welcomed me in, asked if I had just called (which I said yes, that's me) and he pointed me to David. David had a great smile and welcomed me into his chair. He was friendly, talkative, and kind, and talented! He asked me all sorts of things and I did him too, we had a great conversation the whole time! We even talked about the situation and awkwardness of the other shop, which was a completely different experience than what I got at Dalajas. David gave me a great cut and offered his business card so I can make future reservation with him, and he joked that there wasn't an additional charge for the reservation lol. As I left, the owner smiled at me again and thanked me for coming in, something that never happened at the other barber. Everyone at Dalajas made me feel welcome, wanted, and appreciated. It was literally the best experience. Today, I just had my hair cut again, by David of course and with a reservation, and it was another great experience and another great cut! I'm so glad I found an amazing barber at an incredible shop! I'll be coming back here for a very long time, I'm sure. This place is amazing and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!! Give them a try, you'll be glad you did! I wish I could give them 10 stars because they're that good.“

“Every time I need a trim, I run to LAX Barber Salon. I just let Graciela know to clean me up around the edges and cut some off the top, since I sometimes grow my hair out until I get a fade. She leaves me looking and feeling great. This place is great for traditional men's haircuts, but they are always open to trying new things and above all delivering on what you ask for. I am always very specific and particular, but if there is something I don't mention, Graciela always asks for clarification or double checks you still want the same thing from your past visit. This is a place for everyone to go to, as my teen brother and my mom also go here for haircuts and coloring. While the prices are always great, I give her the amount other barbershops would charge me for the same thing because she's that good and deserves it!“

After you have been coming here , they know exactly how to cut your hair. This is family owned and operated. It's full service, including beard trimming. Not that I need one. The wait here is short, about 15 minutes on Thursdays. There is plenty of seating inside and outside.“
