I wish that we had started our TKD journey at this school!My family of 4 had been practicing Taekwondo for several years at a different school. When COVID happened that school closed. My husband and I were both Red Belts and my ages 13 and 9 years were Green Belts and we wanted to continue practicing. We visited a few schools but they didn’t feel right. My friend encouraged me to try her school. I hesitated because I didn’t want to drive to IB to practice. If you are looking for a place to get healthy, relieve all your stress, push your body as hard as you want, and also learn self-defense/martial arts, you have come to the right place! Pan-Am Tae Kwon Do Academy located in Imperial Beach, CA, is probably the BEST traditional martial arts school you’re going to find ANYWHERE in San Diego or even Southern California. Olympic-style and Traditional style Tae Kwon Do is taught here. Grandmaster Ray Nam Kim teaches the Tae Kwon Do Oath and also the Tenets of Tae Kwon Do. We enrolled our son and wish we had done it sooner! Walking in you immediately see the history and heritage of TaeKwon-Do as lived by Grand Master Kim and his students. Grand Master Kim is a kind, patient, and firm instructor with the smaller students and our son looked up to and respected him immensely. The family atmosphere is friendly and everyone genuinely looks forward to Grand Master Kim's lesson whether you're a student or observer. We'd have enrolled our son for life but sadly we had to move out of the country for work. There is no better TaeKwon-Do Academy better then Pan-am or Grand Master Kim!!!
