“Sammy Rubin is the owner of this mobile massage service. He is super responsive and very nice. We communicated through text from beginning of booking the appointments to the end of getting a refund. I was booking for a group of 7 girls, he offered a discount where the bride does not owe anything. We gladly accepted that and our massages for the rest came out at 119 per person. We put half down payment first to reserve our spots for the weekend. A week before the actual massage date, I followed up to make sure if there was anything else needed, and nothing required except to pay the remainder of balance in full. During this time, there were 2 members of my party that were not sure if they wanted to attend or not. Sammy assured me by saying we can always refund as the actual day comes and they choose to opt in or not. I paid for the other 2 members in full first and we were all set. A day before the actual event, a staff member named Dan called to confirm appt and explain the set up and details. We were booked for 3pm, he said they will come earlier to set up to start right at 3. We did originally request for all female massuses, but there was only one male and one female available at this time. All good, no worries. The actual day comes, and two members of my party decide to opt out. I texted Sammy n Dan to let them know of the updates and it will be massages for only 5 people. They set up inside, and they changed out linens between each person. It did take 1 hr each. We could keep a shirt on (considered a sports massage) or go topless, as they have linens to cover our body. They offered back exfoliation with st. Ives apricot scrub and head massage with peppermint oil. My only complaint here is that they put too much oil on my head. At one point I felt like I couldn't breathe because the smell was so strong. I liked the pressure on mine, but some of members of my party said they would have requested a little harder as they are used to the Asian massuses using their elbows to dig deep. Now is the finale. I needed the refund for 2 that I paid in full before. I did have to follow up with Sammy 2 times but all in all, he gave super detailed instructions on ways that I could get my money back (via refund on his end or a charge back through my banking app). Throughout this whole refund process, I did not feel like he was trying to blow me off and felt like he genuinely tried to help me get my money back. For that I give this review 4 stars because of how transparent and how easy to communicate with him. If I ever come back to Palm springs for a massage and staycation, I'll definitely book him again!!“
